Extend your Corporate Social Investment (CSI) profile by supporting the Elgin Learning
Foundation in the Overberg, Western Cape, where Integrated Rural Development has been happening for the past 15 years. ELF has developed a unique community development package in line with government’s development initiatives.

The Elgin Learning Foundation originated through the goodwill and vision of a childless farming couple Gerald and Hazel Wright, who through their Trust, bequeathed some seed money for an organization to work towards improving the quality of life for farm workers in the Elgin Valley.

Over the years ELF has worked very hard to develop an integrated development package which is
currently deployed in over 52 projects and various accredited training programmes. This approach strives to link training and skills development to practical outcomes, jobs and opportunities for self-employment for those learners who have successfully completed their training. The organization is moving towards long term sustainability by generating income from the delivery of accreditated training and project managing specifically for Government departments and SETAS.
